Week 14 Game by Game Sit-Start Breakdown

Carolina vs Atlanta

START
Matt Ryan - 369 yards and three TDs in their first meeting.
Michael Turner - Every time we tell you to sit him he scores. So start at your own risk. But he's wore us down. We're starting him.  Panthers, who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to backs
Jacquizz Rodgers -
Julio Jones - scored all six of his touchdowns and gained 614 of his 931 receiving yards away from Atlanta
Tony Gonzalez - 13 red zone targets are tied for sixth-most in the NFL

SIT
Cam Newton - NFL teams have figured him out. Carolina will need to throw to keep up. Unfortunately that means Cam will be limited on his runs.
DeAngelo Williams - 12 carries last week when he was the ONLY running back
Steve Smith - Atlanta hasn't given up a receiving TD in the last 3 games.

Roddy White - Zero TDs since week 4.J ulio dominates away game (very scientific)  Carolina has given up the 7th fewest points to WRs this year.



Seattle vs Arizona

START
Russell Wilson -  He has scored 20-plus fantasy points in three of his last four games, once of which came on the against the Chicago Bears.
Marshawn Lynch - Shonn Greene  had over 100 yards against the Cardinals last week. Lynch is a much better RB
Rob Housler - Seattle has one of the best group of DBs in the league. AZ will have to find another receiving option


SIT
John Skelton - Seattle has the #2 pass defense in the NFL
Beanie Wells - Only AP has managed a decent game against Seattle at home. Wells is not AP
Larry Fitzgerald -  He has a combined five catches, 65 yards and no touchdowns in his last three games

Sidney Rice - Cardinal's have the 3rd ranked pass defense. They'll force Wilson to spread it around and use his legs.

Green Bay vs Lions

START
Matthew Stafford - Stafford is averaging 311.7 yards a game.
Calvin Johnson - averaging 154.8 yards in his past four game
Aaron Rodgers
Greg Jennings - the Lions have giving up more than 30 points in three of their last four games
Randall Cobb - He's the healthiest WR on the roster. Oh and he's pretty good.
Jermichael Finley - The Lion's have given up the third most fantasy points to TEs this year.

Mike Thomas
Mikel Leshoure - Leshoure has only had two games over 80 yards this season. Without TDs he's worthless.
Brandon Pettigrew - The Packers have held him to 27 or fewer yards in three of their last four meetings,
Alex Green - He lost his job to James Starks. getting it back by default doesn't make him any better.
James Jones - A boom-or-bust and touchdown-dependent producer


Vikings vs Chicago

START
Adrian Peterson - Even though the Bears have allowed the 3rd fewest points to RBs, Peterson IS the offense
Kyle Rudolph -  He's scored one touchdown and double-digit fantasy points in three straight games

Matt Forte -. Vikings rush defense has given up 236 yards and three touchdowns the past two weeks

Jay Cutler - Vikings defense has held opposing quarterbacks to one passing touchdown or fewer in seven games

Colts vs Titans


START
Andrew Luck - Titans have given up the second most passing TDs in the league.
Vick Ballard - D. Brown is out and the Titans have the 23rd ranked run D.

Donnie Avery - 14 targets last week
Chris Johnson - Indy has allowed the sixth-most rushing touchdowns this season and the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs
Jake Locker - In three of their last four games, the Colts have allowed at least 300 yards passing

TY Hilton - Avery plays, TY gets nothing. Unless Luck throws for 400 yards again

Steven Jackson - Had 21 carries against the 49ers last week. Buffalo has the 30th ranked run defense.
Chris Givens - 11 receptions last week
CJ Spiller -  Rams, have allowed the third-most total touchdowns and an average of close to 20 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs

SIT
Ryan Fitzpatrick - The Rams have actually been pretty stout against the pass in road contests, allowing an average of just over 13 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
Fred Jackson - Bad weather may have given Jackson a few more carries than he'll see this week.

Sam Bradford - Buffalo in December. Since Mario Williams has become healthy the Buffalo D. has looked much better.

Wes Welker - #1 passing offense in the league. 18 targets last week
Aaron Hernandez
Andre Johnson -   he's averaged eight receptions and 119 yards per game since Week 6
Matt Schaub - Patriots have the 29th ranked pass defense and a top 10 run defense.
Owen Daniels - The Patriots  have allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends at home this season.

Arian Foster -  leads the league in fantasy points, but NE will focus on shutting him down. They have a top 10 run defense

Stevan Ridley - Houston has the 6yh ranked run offense. Brady will be throwing the ball a ton

Marcedes Lewis - receiving more and more targets. The running game is a joke and Henne has looked like... well not Henne

Chad Henne - Time to sit Henne. He'll be facing the Jets 4th ranked pass defense. Les than 200 yards a game.

Oakland  vs Denver

START

Knowshon Moreno - 40 carries in the last two weeks
Demaryius Thomas -  over 100 yards in their first meeting. Plus he's had 4 TDs in his last 3 games.
Brandon Myers -  244 yards and four touchdowns. in the last 3 games

Carson Palmer Denver has the 6th ranked pass defense. Pa;mer struggled against them in their first meeting
Denarius Moore - How many times is this guy going to lay an egg before you avoid him? No more than 5 catches in a game this year and he's only done that twice.

Darren McFadden - Limited touches in his first game back
Marcel Reece - DMC is Back, Goodson is back.
Eric Decker 4, 5, 8, 2 targets the last 4 weeks.
Brandon Stokely - seems to be eating into Decker's targets
Jacob Tamme - Fools gold. He had a good game last week but that was against the worst passing D in the league.



Cincinnati  vs Dallas

START
Andy Dalton - 409 passing yards, seven touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two home games
BenJarvus Green-Ellis - 100 yards three straight weeks, Dallas will be more focused on topping AJ Green
A.J. Green -
Jermaine Gresham - three touchdowns in the past four weeks.
DeMarco Murray - the Bengals D is tough against the pass and lead the league in sacks. they will lean on the running game to keep Romo alive.


SIT
Tony Romo - Cincy leads the lead in sacks. have not allowed a 100 yard receiver or runner since their bye week
Dez Bryant - Dallas should attempt to slow down Cincy's pass rush by running the ball a ton this week.
Miles Austin - Austin has scored once in his last five games
Kevin Ogletree
Jason Witten - No stats to back this up, but we just feel Cincy is going to make Romo look like dirt. All his receiving options will suffer.

Cleveland  vs Kansas City

START
Brandon Weeden -
Trent Richardson - 28th ranked run defense and Richardson is getting a ton of touches.
Josh Gordon - 15 receptions in the past three games  Kansas City secondary is bad. 9-12  #1 WRs have scored double digit points against KC.
Jamaal Charles - three 100 yard games in the past 4 weeks.
Ben Watson - He's a gun slinger.

Redskins  vs Baltimore

START
Robert Griffin III -
Alfred Morris - Five 100 yard game, more than any other rookie RB.
Pierre Garcon - 17 targets the past 2 week.
Dennis Pitta -  the Redskins, have allowed more fantasy points to tight ends at home than any other team in the league.

Joe Flacco -  All of his road games can't be flops. The Redskins pass defense is susceptible to the deep ball and Flacco loves to show off his arm strength.
Torrey Smith - The Redskins pass defense is prone to giving up the big play. that's Smith's bread and butter.
Anquan Boldin - the last two weeks, the Redskins have allowed wide receivers to catch 31 balls for 453 yards and two scores

Ray Rice - Washington has the #4 ranked rush defense. Only 12 carries last week

Eagle  vs  Tampa

START
Nick Foles - Tampa has the worst pass defense in the league
Bryce Brown - Tampa has the #1 run defense in the league. He's in for a rough week.

Vincent Jackson - only two teams have allowed more receiving TDs than the eagles.
Mike Williams - targeted a ton the past couple of games.
Brent Celek - 7 catches last week, and Tampa has the worst passing D in the league.
Josh Freeman - Eagles defense has allowed 25-plus fantasy points to quarterbacks in each of the last three weeks.
Dallas Clark - In his last four games, Clark has scored three touchdowns.

Giants  vs  Saints

START
Eli Manning -  last two games, throwing for 529 yards and four touchdowns. Saints have the 30th ranked pass defense.
Ahmad Bradshaw -  He's getting almost all the touches out of the backfield.
Hakeem Nicks - 19 catches the last three weeks. Redskins have allowed the econd most yards to wideouts this year.
Victor Cruz - - tore it up against the Redskins subpar pass defense. the Saints pass D isn't much better
Martellus Bennett - New Orleans' defense has surrendered 321 yards and four touchdowns to opposing tight ends over the past four games.
Drew Brees - The Saints have 732 passing yards in the past two meetings
Jimmy Graham
Darren Sproles - nine targets last week
Marques Colston - 281 yards and two touchdowns against the Giants in three career games

Miami vs San Francisco

START
Collin Kaepernick - Dual threat QB is a lock to put up good numbers
Frank Gore - 8th best run defense in the NFL
Michael Crabtree - over 100 yards last wek. Maybe he and Kaepernick are on the same page now
Mario Manningham - Not a huge game but better than expected. San Fran will controll the time of possession, and give their offense a ton of opportunities

Reggie Bush - The 49ers are just too good and the Dolphins don't have enough weapons. they'll focus on shutting Bush down.

Vernon Davis - He had that great game against Chicago but has stunk it up the rest of the year.

Pittsburg  vs  San Diego

START
Ben Roth - Could have played last week. He's ready to go.
Jonathan Dwyer - 19 carries and a TD last week. Should get even more action this week
Mike Wallace - Big Ben has found Wallace for touchdowns six times this season, including twice in his last two games before getting hurt.

Philip Rivers - Steelers have the #1 ranked pass defense. Rivers is a turnover / meltdown machine.
Ryan Mathews -  hasn't posted double-digit fantasy points since Week 5

Antonio Gates - only 417 receiving yards and four touchdowns for the season
Heath Miller - Chargers have allowed the 3rd fewest points to TEs
